Igor Dzhura holds a great deal of experience in the medical field. He
spent over 10 years in clinical research, which has greatly enhanced his
medical knowledge. Drug recovery, ion channels regulation, cancer
research, biochemistry, and microbiology are the fields in which he has
expertise. His research skills include basic molecular biology methods,
Glucose stimulated insulin secretion assay, ELISA assay, primary cell
culture, bacterial and mammals cell culture, flowcytometry,
electrophysiology, and biostatistics. He has managed external
collaborations and CRO’s, and designed and implemented comprehensive
assay protocols.

Presently, Igor Dzhura is employed at ReproSource,
Inc in Woburn, MA. Working since 2015, he serves as a Scientist/Medical
Technologist in the Department of Immunology. His duties are developing
and validating new assays for flow cytometry, management assay NKA, IMX,
FOXP3 and T-RIP, and working under CLIA and CAP.
Igor Dzhura worked with Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN for 8 years. He served the position of a Research Associate, and did regulation of cardiac calcium by CAMKII (electrophysiology, cell culture, transfection, PCR, cardiomyocytes isolation, animal husbandry, PCR, etc.). From 1998 to 2000, he worked with the Bogomoletz Institute of Physiology in Kyiv, Ukraine. At this institute, he studied T-type (Cav3.2) channels: regulation, properties, pharmacology (electrophysiology, RNA/DNA isolation, cell culture, etc.).
